Regional Leisure Centre is a specialized educational establishment under the Trencin regional government. The statutory body of the organization is the director. Its official address is Pod Sokolicami 14, 911 01 Trenčín.
The organization’s activities are as follows:
a) it functions independently according to its budget approved by the regional government, which ensures and monitors its activities;
b) it can take on rights and commit yourself independently since its creation;
c) it creates activities for children and youth, creating conditions for developing and improving their practical skills;
d) it offers methodological guidance for educational and free time activities for young people;
e) it organizes competitions and Olympiads in various areas - sports, knowledge, interests and artistic – in the Trencin region;
f) cooperates with organizations that provide physical activities for children and youth;
g) participates in the development of talented youth;
h) is actively involved in promoting technical skills of primary school pupils;
i) is involved in the creation of the state policy towards children and youth in the Trenčín region and initiates its execution in all areas side by side with entities working directly or indirectly with young people;
j) it works as an intermediary between the Trenčín Region and other entities which carry out the state policy in partner organizations and institutions;
k) participates in shaping the regional policy regarding children and youth;
l) provides information, methodological and technical assistance in the field of youth and children’s work;
m) established and maintains an information database of leisure centers and other entities dealing with non-formal education of youth from the Trencin region;
n) maps the needs of young people in the Trenčín region what’s regarding in free time;
o) coordinates and implements activities and projects in the field of youth and sports in partnership with state authorities, Trenčín Region, municipalities and civil society organizations;
p) promotes the integration of intercultural learning and human rights education to local youth;
q) organizes and implements international youth activities and training of youth workers in a multicultural context;
r) promoting the active participation of young people in the preparation and implementation of activities;
s) performs other tasks assigned by the regional government.
